Community-Driven Clean Energy: How Local Partnerships Power Our Hubs
At PT Energi Bukit Delima, we believe that clean energy infrastructure must go beyond engineering. It must be rooted in local realities, shaped by inclusive practices, and strengthened by long-term partnerships.
Why Community Matters
Local participation is not an afterthought—it is essential to:
• Build trust and continuity across rural landscapes
• Support livelihood creation and skill development
• Enable feedstock traceability through direct engagement
• Strengthen the social license for long-term operations
Clean fuel systems that work with—not around—local communities are more resilient and verifiable.
Our Ground-Level Work
Our two hubs—now under development—are supported by:
• Partnerships with women-led collection groups, farmer cooperatives, and informal networks
• Collaboration with schools, village leaders, and traditional institutions
• Training pathways for safe and responsible handling of local residues
• Early mapping of biodiversity and land-use impacts in surrounding areas
These relationships allow us to prototype more inclusive value chains while strengthening transparency for future compliance.
A Shared Platform
By aligning local knowledge with international standards, we are laying the foundation for a community-powered clean fuels platform—designed in Indonesia, connected to global markets.
This work remains in progress. But the principle is clear: meaningful partnerships are not side initiatives—they are core infrastructure.
Follow our journey as we continue building clean energy systems with people, not just for people.
